Medications and Skincare Products:
Avoid blood thinners: Stop taking medications like aspirin, ibuprofen, and fish oil for about a week before the treatment, as they can increase the risk of bruising.
Discontinue certain skincare products: Avoid retinoids (like retinol and tretinoin), vitamin A products, and exfoliating acids (like glycolic and salicylic acid) for 5-7 days prior to treatment.
Consult your practitioner: If you're taking any other medications or supplements, discuss them with your provider to ensure they won't interfere with the procedure. Avoid other skin treatments: Refrain from laser resurfacing, dermabrasion, and deep chemical peels for several months before RF microneedling.
